Celbridge prepares for Country Fest

The Celbridge Country Music Festival will debut on Saturday 3 August 2019 with Nathan Carter top of the bill. The venture will take place at Celbridge GAA Club.

Chair of the GAA club Noel Dunne says it will be a special day in Co Kildare. “We are delighted we will have Nathan Carter in Celbridge for this superb family day out. Full details of the acts will be announced shortly.

“This event is being held as a joint fundraiser for both Celbridge GAA Club to assist in improving our facilities and also for our club colleague, Declan Naughton, who has been a long-standing member and who has coached teams and also been a key fundraiser.

“Declan had a serious accident last June while taking part in a charity cycle and it has left him with life-changing injuries. We are very hopeful that our community will support this event to raise much-needed funds to allow Declan and Louise extensively adapt and extend their home. This will enable his return home to Louise, Cillian and Callum from the National Rehabilitation Hospital in Dublin.”

The show will run from 1pm to 7pm and there will be a large dance-floor to facilitate those who wish to dance to the performances. Unreserved seating will also be available on the pitch. There will be ample on-site parking, in addition to a host of hospitality facilities that includes a full alcohol licence and food services.

Tickets are €25 plus booking fee and are available on tickets.ie and in all SuperValu and Centra stores nationwide.
