Bayer, a Life Science company with a presence in Ireland for more than 50 years and core competencies in the areas of healthcare and agriculture, is delighted to be exhibiting at the National Ploughing Championships in Screggan, Tullamore, Co. Offaly this month.

The Bayer marquee at the National Ploughing Championships will feature four different zones, dedicated to the future of farming, animal health, self-care and healthy ageing.

1. Future of Farming - experts from the Bayer Crop Science team will be on hand to speak to visitors about how Bayer is shaping the future of farming in an innovative and sustainable way.

2. Animal Health - the Bayer veterinary nurses will answer any questions about animal health you may have, along with giving a talk on practical tips and tricks on how to look after your animals’ health.

3. Self-care (Human health) - visit the Berocca Bar at the Bayer marquee to enjoy a free Berocca sample*. Visitors can also check out the self-care zone to find out about taking care of their own health and listen to an expert talk on self-care from a local pharmacist.

4. Healthy Ageing (Pharma) - Bayer will use some exciting technology at their marquee to show visitors how important healthy ageing really is. Visitors will be able to try out an interactive virtual reality experience on heart health and eye health.

Marty Mone, country and western singing sensation, will be at the Bayer marquee on Tuesday 18th and Thursday 20th September 2018. The popular Castleblayney man is currently enjoying huge success with his second hit single ‘Slip the Clutch’, a follow-up to the phenomenally successful ‘Hit the Diff’ which became a viral anthem on YouTube in 2015 with over 3.5 million views. Having released ‘Hit the Diff’ the album, Marty has grown a legion of loyal fans and has cemented himself as one of Ireland’s finest songwriters.

Visitors to the National Ploughing Championship will be treated to an exclusive live performance of his most popular hits on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons at the Bayer marquee, located at Block 4/Row 37/Stand 723. Marty will also be taking part in Q&A sessions on both days with MC and Operation Transformation fitness guru Karl Henry, where attendees will have the chance to speak with Marty and find out about his successful career and farming background.
