On Tuesday near Enniscorthy, Co. Wexford, new Case IH dealers The Cooney Furlong Machinery Company welcomed the Case Red Power Tour to its premises.

The tour, which is making its way to various Case IH dealers around Ireland, gave the public an opportunity to drive the latest tractor models.

Star of the show was the Case IH Quadtrac 620. The tractor which is owned by Walter Furlong isn used on his tillage farm.

In total, 19 different tractors were on display. Star of the show was a 620hp Case Quadtrac which is owned and operated by Walter Furlong on his tillage farm.

Alongside the Quadtrac were different models from the Magnum and Puma range, including the Magnum 340 CVX, Puma 185, 220 and 240.

Smaller models were also represented including the Puma 140X and Puma 150 Multi Controller. One of the most popular models with those in attendance was the Maxxum Active 8.

Business manager for Cooney Furlong Barth Landy said: “We are extremely happy with how the day went. We received very positive feedback from both new and existing customers. The day worked really well as people could arrive and drive the tractors allowing them to experience the latest Case IH technology first hand. "Apart from the broad range of tractors, there was also plenty of interest in the AFS [advanced farming systems] GPS system. The system proved popular with both tillage and dairy farmers keen to cut costs across their different farming operations”
