Interest in a 73-acre farm in Curraghteemore, Rathcormac, Co Cork has been rising ever since the New Year. The top-quality farm hit the market in the last week of October. While interest was strong prior to the festive season, the last month saw a pick up in activity for the farm.

The sale

The agent handling this sale is Michael Barry of Dick Barry and Sons. He told Irish Country Living that he expects the sale to be concluded in the next month to six weeks. The guide price is between €10,000/ac and €12,000/ac, and the land is being offered in one or two lots. It is believed that it is under offer at the guide price.
