According to Met Éireann, the day will be mostly dry, with showers in the west of the country expected to dry out in the morning.

It’s expected to be a dull day, with fog lingering in some places, but with occasional sunny spells throughout the day.

Temperatures in the evening will remain cool at between 3°C and 8°C; it will be coldest in the north and northwest of the country.
