Met Éireann is forecasting a mixed day with sunny spells but also showers in places. Clouds will thicken from the southwest in the afternoon and persistent rain will develop in Munster before spreading north-eastwards in the evening. Ulster is expected to remain dry today, however. Highest temperatures will range from 14°C to 19°C.
