Weather forecast

Met Éireann's status yellow warning for low temperatures across Ireland remains in place until 9am on Tuesday morning.

Early frost and any fog will lift to leave a dry day with long spells of sunshine and light variable breezes. Highest afternoon temperatures will be 7°C or 8°C.

Tuesday night will continue dry with light variable winds becoming southwesterly by the end of the night. Temperatures in the east will fall below freezing, down to as low as -3°C in places.

Further to the west, strengthening southwesterly wind will bring slightly milder conditions and temperatures will remain mostly above freezing.
