Weather forecast

Today is set to be the wettest day this week, with Met Éireann forecasting that rain will develop over the western half of the country in the morning and reach the east of the country in the afternoon. It will be wet everywhere in the evening before clearing to showers later in the night. Highest temperatures of 9°C or 10°C in gusty southerly winds will fall to between 2°C and 6°C at night.
