According to Met Éireann’s forecast, rain will develop this morning along western coastal counties and will slowly become more widespread throughout the day. However, the rain will tend to be patchy across many eastern counties. It will be a much milder day, with highs of 12°C or 13°C and it will be a fairly windy with gusty southerly winds.

Tonight will be rather cloudy and breezy, with some outbreaks of rain or drizzle. It will be very mild, with mist, hill and coastal fog about too. Lowest temperatures of 9°C to 12°C are forecast in moderate to fresh southerly breezes.
