• JBS, the world’s largest beef processor based in Brazil, has announced the sale of some of its largest assets including Northern Ireland poultry processor Moy Park.
  • Grain prices are currently undergoing a welcome lift. Glanbia made an offer on Tuesday 20 June, which is €5/t to €6/t higher than its last offer.

  • The brother of a farmer accused of shooting another farmer over a right of way linking their lands has lodged a €3,000 surety to have the accused released on bail.
