Rims

In recent years, KBT has expanded into large-scale rim manufacturing and reconditioning.

For the latter, rims are completely cleaned down to bare metal by sand blasting. Any damage is then repaired before being placed in an oven for 20 minutes at 200°C to heat the steel.

Powder coating with an undercoat (like a primer) follows, before being baked for another 20 minutes, powder coated with the colour specified, and baked again for another 20-minute period.
