Kerry Group has decided to hold base price for January milk supplies at 30c/l ex-VAT (32c/l incl VAT and bonuses) at 3.30% protein and 3.60% butterfat.
A spokesperson said the price at EU standard constituents (3.4% protein and 4.2% fat) is 33.3c/l ex-VAT (35.178c/l incl VAT).
Based on Kerry’s average milk solids for January, the milk price return inclusive of VAT and bonuses is 37.904c/l.
Milk suppliers in Kerry are paid in euro per kilo of milk solids, not volume.
Glanbia reduced milk price for January and Lakeland held milk price.
