Kerrygold butter is celebrating 20 years since it first entered the US. In the last nine years, it has seen double-digit volume growth to become the number two butter brand in the US. It now sells 2.6m blocks each week and is the number one imported butter brand.

Róisín Hennerty, managing director of Ornua Foods, said the success in the US market is a result of decades of investment by Irish dairy farmers in the brand.
