Kubota has launched two new ranges of its compact tractors. The new generation L1 and L2 series benefit from Kubota’s own Stage V engines and refreshed interior and exterior designs.

The lower horsepower L1 series comprises of the L1452 and L152 models. The L1452 is offered with a HST hydrostatic transmission with the L1522 similarly offering this unit or an 8F x 8R manual transmission.

The hydrostatic L1522 brings with it an additional 4hp. These L1 models are only offered with a Roll Over Protection System (ROPS) and a rear lift capacity of 1,750kg.

The L2 series is made up of the L2452 (45hp), L2522 (51hp) and the L2622 (61hp).

The L2452 is available with either a 16F x 16R manual transmission or a hydrostatic option.

However, the L2522 is only available with the manual 16F x 16R transmission while the flagship L2622 is only offered as hydrostatic drive.

Although the L2 tractors are fitted with cabs, the entry-level model can be specified with ROPS. Similarly, all L2 models has a rear lift capacity of 1,750kg.

The firm said that the front axles bevel gear drive and integrated power steering delivers great manoeuvrability. Adding to the versatility of the L1 and L2 range, models can be specified with Kubota front end loaders.
