Kuhn unveiled a lot of new machinery at the event including a belt merger, a disc harrow, a range of trailed sprayers and a precision seed drill.

These machines have 5,000, 5,600, 6,900 and 7,700 litre tanks.

These machines will have aluminium booms with working widths from 24 metres up to 48 metres.

The Merge Maxx 950 belt merger uses two adjustable variable width and bi-directional merger belts to offer a grass pickup width of up to 9.5 metres.

The bi-directional design of the twin belts means that the forage can be put into various swarths.

This includes one single central swarth, a single swarth to the left or right, a swarth to either side or a central and a left/right swarth.

Disc harrows

The Optimer XL range of disc harrows consists of mounted and trailed machines between three and five metres.

Each disc harrow has two rows of independent discs followed by a roller bar which can be fitted with a variety of press wheels.

The 620mm notched discs, made of 6mm steel, are capable of working at depths from 5cm to 15cm. The working depth can be adjusted mechanically or hydraulically, which is an option.

The new precision seed drill is available from six to 12-row versions with row spacing from 37.5cm up to 80cm.

In total, the range comprises of 12 models with various configurations such as telescopic, trailed, foldable, and telescopic with adjustable spacing.
