The GLAS scheme opened for applications on Monday morning, with 450-500 advisors trained to submit plans. The list, as of 25 February 2015, is as follows. More planners are being added on an ongoing basis.

Minister Simon Coveney expects 30,000 farmers to apply for GLAS before the deadline on the 15 May.

Farmers can expect to pay €1,145 for the Green Low-Carbon Agri-Environment Scheme (AEOS) plan if they use Teagasc and the Farm Relief Service (FRS).
