DEAR SIR: I would like to say fair play to Mike Magan for raising awareness of the dreadful famine that is taking place in Yemen. It is basically another holocaust taking place under our noses and I really feel that as farmers who produce food for people we need to collectively do something about this. I cannot think of anything worse than to witness people starving to death.

We owe it to ourselves to act and it would be great if the farm organisations from all sectors devised a way in which we can contribute in some way to alleviate the plight of the people who are in this desperate situation.
