17 April: Taking place at Kiltyclogher Community Centre, Green and Blue explores the painful and humorous realities faced by those who patrolled the border during the conflict in Northern Ireland. This production is based on an oral archive of RUC and An Garda Síochána officers, the production fuses theatre and film to look at the person behind the uniform. Take a step back in time and remember the heart-wrenching past of Northern Ireland that occurred not too long ago as director Paula McFetridge brings home truths to the stage. 15 April: Trad supergroup Danú will be showcasing their musical talents at the Town Hall Theatre, Dungarvan, Co Waterford. Hailing from counties Cork, Dublin, Donegal and Waterford, the musical group is one of the leading traditional Irish ensembles of today. Danú came together in 1995 as part of Ireland’s delegation to Lorient Inter-Celtic Festival in Brittany, and have never looked back. Two decades later and they continue to wow audiences with their musical abilities, playing a variety of instruments, including the flute and accordion, paired with their incredible vocals in Irish and English.
