A young man in his early 20s has died following an accident on a stud farm in Fethard, Co Tipperary.

Another man in his mid-20s sustained injuries and was taken to Cork University Hospital.

The incident happened at 5.30pm on Sunday evening.

Gardaí confirmed that the incident is being investigated.

This is the eighth farm death this year.
