The new Massey Ferguson 4700M series builds on to the existing 4700 series. Similar to the recently launched 5700M series, M stands for medium specification.

The 82hp 4708M, 92hp 4709M and 4710M model tops the three-model range with 100hp. The previous 75hp model has been removed from the range.

All models are powered by Stage V Agco Power, 3.3l four-cylinder engine.

Massey Ferguson says that these new 4700M tractors adopt the modern Massey Ferguson livery, a new dashboard and have stronger wheel rims. The two smaller models come with the option of an open platform instead of the standard cab.

The 4700M range now sees the new Dyna-2 transmission available as an option across the range.

Two transmission options are available in either mechanical or powershuttle variants, the standard 12x12 speed or the new Dyna-2 24x24 speed gearbox, both of which are available with a brake to neutral function.

The Dyna-2 has six gears and two powershifts. Speed matching comes as standard. Once switched on via a switch on the right hand console, powershifts are then automatically selected to suit forward speed on each gearshift.
