A number of farms are on the market around the midlands. The farms of various sizes and quality are being sold by private treaty and it is believed that interest is strong as we enter the Christmas period.

The land market in the midlands has been a mixed bag in 2018. Both private treaty and auction sales have been reported as slow by some auctioneers, with a general air of inconsistency across the market, untypical of the Irish land market in general.

With this, a number of properties across Longford and Westmeath are up for grabs. Offering each holding is Dillon Murtagh of Murtagh Bros, Mullingar, Co Westmeath.
