Almost 43,000 farmers have applied for their Basic Payment Scheme (BPS) online so far, with approximately 10,000 of those submitted in the past week.

The Department of Agriculture continues its series of nationwide BPS clinics this week. It reports very strong attendances at most clinics and up to 100 farmers at each half-day session. This is the first year that all farmers must apply for their BPS online.
