A Young Women with Breast Cancer Networking Morning is being held on Friday in Cork.
Hosted by Cork ARC Cancer Support House, the aim is to bring together and highlight the specific needs of young women aged 25-40 who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
The hope is that the networking morning will lead to the creation of an autumn seminar to further address the needs of young women with breast cancer.
Fiona Moriarty, Cork ARC’s breast cancer nurse counsellor, will facilitate the networking morning. Fiona is an experienced oncology nurse and has over 13 years’ experience in supporting women with breast cancer.
Participants will also meet Eileen McCarthy of Glanmire Hair Studio, Ethna Hickey of Supreme Silhouette, Dawn Kelly of Clarins and Brown Thomas and Grace Walsh of Brown Thomas, for appropriate hair, underwear and beauty tips, as well as other advice.
The networking event takes place in the Montenotte Hotel from 10.30am-1pm.
Please book in advance with Fiona Moriarty by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by phoning Cork ARC on 021 427-6688. All of Cork ARC’s services are free of charge.
