New Holland has recently announced the news that it will be extending its CR combine range to include the CR7.80. The new model will be powered by a Cursor 9 Common Rail engine with an output of up to 415hp.

The new model is fitted with a 750-litre fuel tank, a 9,500-litre grain tank and an unloading speed of 126 litres/second.

Reduction of particulate matter

According to New Holland, “the new CR7.80 and the existing CR7.90, are the first to comply with Stage V emissions standards, which mandate a further 40% reduction of particulate matter content compared with previous Stage IV regulation”.

The new emission limits are achieved with the Cursor 9 engine and the new HI-eSCR2 technology developed by FPT Industrial.

These engines are EGR-free.
