SlurryKat has just launched a new Premium Plus range of trailing shoe systems. The new line is said to be a further development from the 2020 duo dribble bar range. The firm said the new range is a new design with no features or components repeated from the previous 2017 model.

One key feature of the unit is a reduction in weight by 28% in comparison to the previous model.

SlurryKat claims to have done this by using high-grade steel which is 68% stronger than standard steel of the same thickness.

The new range is available in 7.5m, 10m and 12m working widths. Both the 10m and 12m models feature an incorporated land wheel for better contour following.

The folding and unfolding is performed by a sequence system with the outer booms folding back underneath in a gullwing-type arrangement.

The entire beam of the unit oscillates and swings upwards, meaning the shoes can be flipped up for headland turns without lifting the entire machine.

Design

The design of the shoes and springs is also new, with a cast hard-wearing tip formed together with a neoprene nozzle. This new shoe has been adapted from the company’s Farmline range.

The unit can be tanker mounted on SlurryKat’s Premium Plus range and can also be fitted with an optional drag hose kit for umbilical use. The drag hose kit features an integrated stainless steel swivel joint which allows for 180 degree turns.

Prices for the new range starts from £11,995 (€13,268) plus VAT.
