The state has sought an adjournment to 16 June in the case of a 32-year-old man accused of a number of cattle rustling incidents in west Cork.
Court presenter, sergeant Tom Mulcahy told a sitting of Clonakilty District Court that a file had been sent to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) and he was seeking an adjournment until directions are received from the DPP.
The accused, Colm Dineen of Cappaghmore, Ballydehob, appeared before judge Monika Leech at a sitting of Clonakilty District Court on Tuesday 5 May.
Defence solicitor, Flor Murphy said his client consented to the adjournment.
Mr Dineen was remanded on continuing bail, with the same conditions as previously agreed.
The accused is charged with four charges that relate to a number of cattle thefts that occurred in the Skibbereen of Co Cork between December 2017 and November 2025.
A fifth charge relates to entering a house as a trespasser and theft.
