Agri Aware to connect with consumers at Cork Summer Show

For the first time, Agri Aware will be exhibiting at this year’s Cork Summer Show, taking place on Saturday and Sunday, 20-21 June.

The agri-food educational body will bring its renowned farmyard, shown at Bloom, as well as hosting a marquee for its ongoing Food For Thought campaign.

Taking place at the Cork Showgrounds in Curraheen, Agri Aware aims to educate visitors on Irish agriculture and food production via demonstrations and displays at the Agri Aware Farmyard. There visitors will be offered a flavour of the work that goes into producing top-quality sustainable food and caring for livestock and the environment on Irish farms.

The Agri Aware Food for Thought marquee will provide visitors with an opportunity to meet and hear from those working in Ireland’s agri-food sector.

Insight

Patrons of the agri-food educational body will provide insight, analysis and experience of the work that goes into producing, processing, promoting and enhancing the sector, while cooking demonstrations in between panels, will offer a taste of the top-quality food Irish farmers and producers provide year-round.
