A dairy farm assistant is required for six months from January on a farm in Glanworth, Co Cork.

The successful candidate will be required to work approximately 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, during the busy spring period.

There will be no weekend work required at any stage.

This Cork enterprise is seeking a motivated and reliable person to join the team for the upcoming spring season.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, is eager to learn and wants to develop their skills in a modern dairy farm environment.

Key responsibilities include daily milking duties, feeding calves and other livestock and general animal husbandry.

Previous experience operating farm machinery such as tractors, loaders and diet feeders is preferred, but not essential.

Overall, the role will involve assisting with a range of spring tasks that are common on a busy dairy farm.
