Two dairy farm assistants are required for full-time roles on a dairy farm in Edenderry Co Offaly. Louise Quinn of the Ballym Charolais herd is hiring for the positions.
The suitable candidate will support daily operations on the farm. This role involves caring for livestock, assisting with milking routines, maintaining farm equipment, and ensuring high standards of animal welfare and hygiene. The role also involved assisting with daily milking operations as well as feeding and monitoring the health and wellbeing of the stock.
The minimum annual remuneration for this dairy assistant position is €34,000 for a standard 39 hour working week.

Dairy farm assistant in Galway
The Treacy farm partnership of Newtown, Co Galway requires an experienced dairy farm assistant to join its 400-acre dairy farm.
The dairy assistant would be required to help with the milking of 200 British Friesian cows in a traditional herringbone parlour.
The partnership plans to expand the herd and modernise the farm and requires an assistant with at least two years practical milking and calf rearing experience.
Candidates must be able to speak English and be ready to start work on the farm in time for spring calving in February.
A minimum of €34,000 per annum is on offer for a 39 hour/six-day week and can provide accommodation if needed.

Limerick position
Ardkeel Dairy near Fuerty, Co Roscommon, required a farm assistant to join its small team and to be part of its future plans to modernise and expand the farm business.
Currently milking 175 cows in a herringbone parlour, Ardkeel Dairy is co-operating with another family farm who milk a further 350 cows.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of two year's experience working on a dairy farm, hold a full driving license and be able to speak English.
A minimum of €34,000 will be paid to the successful candidate for a 39 hour, six-day week.
