Mushroom operatives – Co Monaghan

White Hart Mushrooms Limited are currently seeking to recruit 15 horticulture operatives for their enterprise in Cargaghoge, Shercock, Co Monaghan.

The successful candidates will work as part of the factory processing team producing food items to fulfil production targets on a daily and weekly basis and will be required to work in all areas of the factory. The physical elements of the role include lifting and standing.

The employers are seeking applicants with experience that will work on their own initiative and as part of a team and meet production targets.

The full-time role comes with an annual salary of €30,000.

Assistant dairy farm manager – Co Laois

There is a position available for an assistant farm manager on a family farm in Abbeyleix, Co Laois.

The farm has 130 high-EBI Friesian cows on a spring calving system. It also comes with a 12-unit Fullwood parlour with auto removers and dumpline; Censortec collars and Alfco drafting.

The main duties with the role are assisting with daily herd and grassland tasks; milking, calving, calf rearing and breeding support; grass measurement, planning and paddock moves; general maintenance and machinery work.

The employers are ideally seeking applicants with machinery skills and dairy experience, however, training is available. A full driving licence is required.

There is a position available on 90-cow spring calving dairy farm in east Cork.

The farm duties will include milking cows, tractor work and general farm duties.

The full-time job will be scheduled on a shared rota. The employers are seeking applicants with a valid EU working visa and milking experience is essential.
