Letters denoting area monitoring system (AMS) notifications issued this week on 24 June to applicants where the presence of potential artificial surfaces have been identified.

These artificial surfaces may be a farm roadway, farmyard, farmyard extension, house site, rocky areas or new bale storage areas etc and which have not previously being excluded correctly on an applicants Basic Income Support for Sustainability application.

The Department explains that the AMS notifications provide an opportunity to correct scheme applications. It highlights that once a response has been submitted it cannot be amended.
