Tuesday's sale of store cattle at Ballymena Livestock Market has been cancelled due to the weather.
The Antrim mart operates five days a week, with an average yearly throughput of 160,000 sheep and 65,000 cattle.
The mart said on Tuesday morning that the sale had to be cancelled due to difficult driving conditions which became "particularly difficult".
However, despite Tuesday's closure, the mart expects to be back up and running as normal for its weekly Wednesday sheep sale.
There is a yellow ice warning in place for Antrim, Armagh, Down, Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry, which is valid from 6pm Tuesday until 11am Wednesday.
"Please stay safe on the roads and we intend to resume our normal weekly sales with our fat lamb and ewe sale tomorrow."
Machinery
The mart is also an established location for agricultural machinery, plant and implement sales, with auctions held monthly throughout the year and on farm machinery sales, the mart provides expert service and advice in the selling and buying of machinery.
