Having secured LEADER funding, the Midland and Western Livestock Improvement Society Ltd is looking for the views of farmers and breed societies as they explore the possibility of upgrading their facilities at the showgrounds.
Looking to better utilise the resource for the region and potentially upgrade the current facilities at the showgrounds into a community hub and a regional multi-functional exhibition centre, the study aims to get an understanding of how it could better serve the local community.
Farmers are asked to rate the current facilities at the showgrounds and state what enhancements are required.
It also asks about the potential to redevelop the showgrounds and whether there should be a purpose-built indoor exhibition space, outdoor arenas for shows and enhanced hospitality.
Interested parties are asked to contribute to the survey.
