A 32-year-old man accused of a number of cattle rustling incidents in west Cork has been remanded on continuing bail.

Colm Dineen of Cappaghmore, Ballydehob, appeared before judge Joanne Carroll at a sitting of Clonakilty District Court on Tuesday 3 March.

Judge Carroll remanded him on continuing bail with the same conditions as previously agreed on.

These include that he is to stay out of Co Cork and must reside in Wexford where he is to sign on daily. He is also to have no contact with any of the alleged injured parties.

He is to appear in Clonakilty District Court on 5 May for directions from the Director of Public Prosecutions.

The accused is charged with four charges that relate to a number of cattle thefts that occurred in the Skibbereen of Co Cork between December 2017 and November 2025.

A fifth charge relates to entering a house as a trespasser and theft.
