Dualla Show, the annual agricultural show which takes place in the village of Dualla, outside Cashel, Co Tipperary, has been postponed.
It was due to take place on Sunday 30 August.
Instead, the show will now take place six days later on Saturday 5 September.
A statement from the organisers said: “We’re extremely disappointed with this situation, considering how well preparations have gone so far.
“The key aspects of the show have all been confirmed for this new date: tractor pulling, country music, livestock, wellness and free kids entertainment – with some minor changes to some aspects.
“We are determined to put on the same event on Saturday week with forecasts suggesting a much more stable weather system.”
The popular agricultural show, which marks one of the last shows of the summer, features multiple cattle classes, tractor pulling and free children’s entertainment.
