Gardaí have appealed for those with information on the incident to come forward.
A male pedestrian in his 60s has died in a road traffic collision involving a tractor near Sixmilebridge, Co Clare, on Saturday morning.
The incident occurred in the Kilmurry area of the L7006 and the male was pronounced dead at the scene.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to the collision shortly after 10.15am.
The deceased’s body has been conveyed to University Hospital Limerick and a post-mortem will take place in due course.
The road is currently closed for a technical examination by Garda forensic collision investigators and an appeal has been put out for witnesses.
Gardaí are appealing for any road users who may have camera footage of the area between 10am and 10.15am Saturday, including dash-cam footage, to come forward.
