Former Irish ambassador to the US Dan Mulhall is to address this year’s Michael Dillon Memorial Lecture.

Hosted by the Guild of Agricultural Journalists of Ireland, the lecture takes place on 20 November in the K Club.

Mulhall is also a former Irish ambassador to the UK, Germany, and Malaysia.

He was the Irish ambassador to the US during the first Trump administration and the subsequent Biden administration. Prior to that he was Irish ambassador to the UK during the Brexit referendum.

Sponsored by Kerry Group, the biennial event is hosted in honour of the late Michael Dillon, one of Ireland’s foremost agricultural journalists and broadcasters and a founding member of the Irish Guild of Agricultural Journalists.
