Gardaí in Co Leitrim have recovered some items that were stolen in a farmyard in Ballinamore.

The incident occurred between 12:10am and 6:20am on Tuesday 15 July in which a 2016 white Renault Master van, a quad trailer holding a ride-on powerfloat, a motorbike, a concrete drill, a chainsaw, a manual powerfloat, a cement mixer and a power washer were taken.

The Irish Farmers Journal understands that following a search, the quad trailer, ride-on power float, and power washer have been recovered. The affected suckler farmers, Dara Reynolds, has thanked the local gardaí for “leaving no stone unturned”.

Gardaí in Co Leitrim continue to investigate the theft and have appealed for anyone with information to come forward.

A spokesperson for an Garda Síochána said: “This includes anyone who was in the area at the time and has camera (including dash-cam) footage.
