The latest Global Dairy Trade (GDT) price index showed a slight increase of 0.1% since the last trading event.
The most recent figures represent the sixth consecutive increase in the GDT price index.
Anhydrous milk fat increased by 6.4% since the last trading event to take prices to €3,858/t.

Cheddar saw a slight increase of 0.1% trading at €2499/t while mozzarella increased by 0.5% to €2136/t.
Skim milk powder averaged 5.2% higher than the previous trading event at €1730/t while whole milk powder dropped by 4% to €1882/t.
Butter dropped in price by 0.9% to €3485/t and lactose decreased by 0.3% to an average price of €736/t. There was no reported price for butter milk powder.
