A status yellow rainfall warning has been issued for nine counties.
The warning comes into effect at 8pm for Cork and Kerry and will remain in place until 3am on Wednesday.

For Connacht, Cavan and Donegal, the warning will come into force at 10pm on Tuesday and will expire at 5am on Wednesday.
