The Health and Safety Authority has launched an investigation into the death of a man on a farm in Cork.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to a fatal workplace accident at a premises near Bandon, Co Cork, shortly after 4pm on Thursday 11 December 2025.
A male in his 50s was pronounced deceased at the scene, gardaí said. Another man was brought to Cork University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.

A file will be prepared for the coroner.
It is understood that the men were building a wall on the farm at the time of the incident.
