In a new move for 2026, all digital coverage from the Irish Farmers Journal at the National Ploughing Championships will be available to readers for free.
Previously behind a paywall, all of this premium content from Europe’s largest outdoor agricultural event will now be available to all readers, regardless of whether they are subscribers or not.
To access this content, non-subscribers will need to register for free. A pop-up box will appear on Ploughing-related content, where readers will be asked to submit their email address and other basic information.
Users will only have to register once to set up the account and once they are logged in will have access to all Ploughing-related content published by the Irish Farmers Journal.
Live blog
To keep up to date on the latest coverage from the Ploughing, registered users and all subscribers will have access to the live blog from the National Ploughing Championships available each day of the event at www.farmersjournal.ie.
