Tributes have been paid to John Dollard, of Bunlacken, Cullohill, Co Laois, who died last week.
John was a familiar face to the thousands and thousands of farmers who attended the National Ploughing Championships where he was a steward for years.
A farmer himself, John also stewarded at GAA matches at O’Moore Park and Croke Park and at many local events in the county.
John was buried on Saturday in Durrow Cemetery following his funeral mass at St Tighearnach’s Church.
He is survived by his wife Mary, son Martin, daughter-in-law Geraldine, extended family and friends.
