Kerry Dairy Ireland (KDI) has held its milk price for April supplies at 35.88c/l, excluding VAT, including quality and sustainability bonuses.

At EU standard constituents of 3.40% protein and 4.20% butterfat, this equates to 39.31c/l, excluding VAT.

Additionally, based on KDI’s average milk solids for the month of April, the milk price return inclusive of quality and sustainability bonuses stands at 39.17c/l, excluding VAT.

Last month KDI increased its base milk price by 2.87c/l, excluding VAT, for milk supplied in March.

“Global milk supplies remain relatively strong with commodity markets remaining stable despite the ongoing geopolitical risk and uncertainty,” a KDI spokesperson said.
