Lakeland Dairies has announced a three-year corporate partnership with Rural Support, Northern Ireland’s farm support charity.
Rural Support works alongside farmers and farm families, providing confidential, practical guidance and mentoring to help people through challenging times.
Lakeland Dairies vice-chair Keith Agnew commented that the support service provides a valuable service to farming communities.
“We know there are times when farmers and their families may need support, guidance or simply someone to talk to. Rural Support provides an invaluable service with our farming communities, offering practical help and a listening ear when it is needed most.
“Through this partnership, we are helping ensure that farmers and their families know they never have to face challenges of their own,” he said.
