Man in his 60s dies following single tractor collision in Leitrim

Gardaí are investigating following a single vehicle collision involving a tractor near Mullaghycullen, Drumcong, Co Leitrim, on Sunday 17 May.

Gardaí and emergency services responded to the fatal road collision shortly before 11pm.

A man aged in his 60s was pronounced dead at the scene, gardaí have said.

The road remains closed and the scene will be examined by Garda forensic collision investigators, with local diversions in place.

Road users who may have camera footage, including dash-cam footage, and were travelling on the L3355 between 10.30pm and 11pm on Sunday 17 May are asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.
