There’s a new Irish kid on the block in Brussels and he’s there to look at the CAP reform post 2027 and make sure Ireland’s position is fairly represented.
Redmond McEvoy studied Ag Science, worked with Teagasc for almost four years and for the last six years has been working for the Department of Agriculture. McEvoy’s role as agricultural attaché will see him working as part of the Department’s agriculture team in Brussels – hopefully he will negotiate us a good deal.
