Aine Hallihan has been appointed new chair of Moorepark Technology Limited.
Hallihan’s is director of research and development with Carbery Group and she brings with her over 25 years of experience in dairy, food and ingredients industries across research, innovation and commercialisation.
Hallihan takes over from George Macleod, previous chair of the Moorepark board.

Following the announcement, Hallihan said: “We are in the final stages of developing a new strategy for Moorepark for the next five years and I look forward to working with the chief executive, the staff and the shareholders to implement this strategy over the coming years.”
Chair of the Teagasc authority Liam Herlihy commented: “I congratulate Aine on her appointment and look forward to working with her as chairperson of Moorepark.
"I would also like to thank George for his contribution to the development of Moorepark over the last number of years.”
