Ireland is set to hold the 2026 Nuffield Ireland Agri-Summit at the Killashee House Hotel, Naas, Co Kildare, on 22 May 2026.

The summit is the main event within the Nuffield International triennial, a week-long programme welcoming global agricultural leaders and alumni to Ireland.

The theme of the conference is “Feed the World – Our Responsibility” and will bring together over 400 senior figures from farming, agribusiness, policy and economics.

The event is set to be one of the most significant agricultural events of 2026.

As part of the triennial tour, international delegates will travel across Ireland, engaging directly with farmers, agri-businesses and research centres.

David McWilliams, internationally renowned economist, adjunct professor of global economics at Trinity College Dublin, author and podcaster will lead the line-up of speakers offering a global economic perspective rarely heard on the agri circuit.

He will be joined by a mix of Irish and international voices including former European Commissioner Phil Hogan, former Minister for Agriculture Simon Coveney, Marie Donnelly of the Climate Advisory Council, Copa Cogeca’s Ksenija Simovic and Wageningen University professor Rogier Schulte, among others.

The conference will include honest debate on food security, sustainability, geopolitics and Ireland’s role as a global food producer, with insights that may ruffle feathers.

The event is supported by FBD Trust and delivered in partnership with media partner the Irish Farmers Journal.

Tickets for the 2026 Nuffield Agri-Summit, including the gala banquet, are €175 and are expected to sell quickly.
