A drop in temperatures over the coming days has led Met Éireann and the UK's Met Office to issue a number of status yellow snow-ice warnings.

In Northern Ireland, a status yellow snow and ice warning is in place from 3pm on Friday until 12pm on Saturday.

The Met Office has said that wintry showers will become more widespread, bringing some disruption to travel.
